Gatlinburg Falls Resorrt

The company I work for will be going to Gatlinburg Nov. 18th for the week-end. They have booked 2 cabins at Gatlinburg Falls. The Big Kahuna and Majestic Point. Has anyone ever stayed at Gatlinburg Falls and how far is it into town. I was in Gatlingurg last November, hadn%26#39;t been since 1979. Where did all the little craft, candle, wood carving shops go. That was what Gatlinburg was all about when I was a kid. They are gone? or have they moved to a diffrent location?

Gatlinburg Falls Resorrt

We have stayed at Gatlinburg Falls Resort and the cabins are nice. The cabins are all log homes and are pretty much alike but the amenities are good with pool tables, air hockey and arcade games. Some have very nice views. In my opinion, the fireplaces are a bit of a disappointment. They are more like electric heaters than fireplaces but overall, the cabins are roomy and well-appointed. They are about 2 miles to town and an easy drive.

The shops you mentioned are located in the Glades Arts and Crafts Community. Just take 321 (East Parkway) and then follow the signs.

Hope this helps.

I%26#39;ve also stayed at Gatlinburg Falls and loved it. The resort is only about a 5 minute drive to town.

Photoqueen, thank you so much. The shops, were a delight when I was young and I want my son to be able to enjoy some of those things. I look foward to finding this community. Thanks again.

Stayed here last year the cabins are newer and we are going back in june

Stayed here last year wonderful luxury cabins and are so easy to find and are just a 2 minute drive to the main street part of gatlinburg which we really like. We are staying here again in March.
