Places with indoor pools

We are going to try to go to Gatlinburg sometime in December. We are looking for info about nice clean places to stay that have indoor pools and are reasonably priced. My three year old thinks a vacation is a pool. What about Sleep Inn or Fairfield Inn? Are they OK? They were recommended to me.

The Glenstone Lodge is very nice and it has a beautiful indoor 2 level pool and hot tub.

Before choosing any hotel READ THE REVIEWS posted here on TA. Unfortunately your requirements of nice, clean, indoor pool, and reasonably priced - put most of the hotels in Gatlinburg off your list! :-)

Most of the hotels in GB are old and in need of refurbishment. I would offer an opinion that the nicest POOLS are at the Park Vista and Glenstone Lodge. However one winter the Glenstone%26#39;s indoor heated pool was so chilly that we couldn%26#39;t swim. I complained to management who said the temp was exactly what it should be...although by the next morning the water was SIGNIFICANTLY warmer.

The cleanest and newest hotel is probably the Fairfield Inn North Gatlinburg. The rooms are nice, but its location is removed from most of the downtown GB area. It also has one of smallest indoor pools I%26#39;ve ever seen. My kids (teenagers) wouldn%26#39;t even bother getting in because it was so tiny.

I think Best Western Zoders has a nice indoor pool with waterfall.I think the Holiday inn Sunspree has remodeled some of the tower rooms and I love both of their indoor pools and hot tubs.You may want to check them out.

The Clarion on the strip has a nice indoor pool.

The Edgewater also has an indoor pool and is convenient to the strip. As of a year ago, I was recommending staying there. We had a wonderful experience!!

Zodors does have a nice indoor pool area, but it%26#39;s small. The Edgewater%26#39;s indoor pool ceiling fell into the pool last year closing it for a long time (did I mention these hotels were old), and the Clarion%26#39;s indoor pool consists of an outdoor pool with an enclosure built around it. You have to walk OUTSIDE to get to the indoor pool which is quite unpleasant in the winter time.

I recently stayed at the Ramada Inn Four Seaons. They have a wonderful indoor pool. They are reasonably priced.

Thanks everyone! The Ramada Inn Four Seasons sound interesting. Maybe I%26#39;ll check it out. Is it in town or out of town a little bit? If anyone else has a suggestion let me know.

The Ramada is right in the center of downtown.I stayed there once it was aweful.Everything was outdated and dirty from my view point.I also do not like the fact they allow pets.Our room smelled like wet dog and carpet was dirty.If you are looking for a cleaner hotel with a indoor pool and cheaper rates. Try LeConte view motor Inn request newer section.It is right in the center of town also.
