4-generation family trip

Hi, I%26#39;m looking for recommendations for a cabin rental for a trip this summer, probably August. My husband and I have come to the Smokies the last two years and rented a cabin that was remote and romantic. We loved it and want to bring our family this year. We are bringing my mother and her husband (in their 70%26#39;s), our 20-something children, and 2 grandchildren (2 yr. and 4 mos.) So we%26#39;d like to find a cabin that will meet all of our needs, and one that will have some attractions for the 20-somethings, like a swimming pool. As much as I%26#39;d love to be tucked away high on a mountain far from other tourists, I guess I need to look for something that is more accessible for everyone in the group. Gatlinburg Falls Resort looks like it might meet our needs, but I was curious if there were other resorts I should also look at. As far as location, my husband and I will like to spend time in the national park, the 20-somethings will enjoy the livelier entertainment of Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area, and my mom and her husband will like good restaurants and sitting on the porch in rocking chairs. The cabin will need to be somewhat safe for our babies, so I%26#39;m not sure how spiral staircases will work. I know this seeems like a long list of wishes - any suggestions?

4-generation family trip

I was talking to a lady here in Nashville and she and her husband just bought a cabin at Covered Bridge Resort. I had never heard of them so I looked it up on the internet(coveredbridgeresort.com.)and they are beautiful. I believe they may be between Sevierville and Pigeon Forge at Wears Valley. They have some to rent or sell so you might want to take a look at these. They have them from 2 BR to 5 BR.It would be close to everything.

My husband and 14 year old daughter love Gatlinburg and we know of a wonderful resort with excellent views and beautiful cabins. It is a little known place called Hidden Mountain resorts. The website is www.hiddenmountain.com. I can highly recommend these wonderful people. We have been three times, the last being in July of this year, and we have loved our stay every time. They have excellent large cabins with gamerooms and they also have a beautiful swimming pool area. The location is very easy to find and the access road is off of the main parkway in Pigeon Forge. We arefrom Pass Christian, MS and lost our home during Katrina and are heading up there on the 23rd. Once again we will be staying with Hidden Mountain. Good luck!

I have heard good things about Gatlinburg Falls Resort but don%26#39;t have any personal info on them.

We rented through Jackson Mountain Homes in October and rented Overlook Lodge, which was a new 4 bedroom. Beautiful with all the amenities except a swimming pool. They do have a nice gazebo with a hot tub. You can check it out on their website.

I have stayed at Gatlinburg Falls and loved it. The cabins are beautiful. When I%26#39;ve gone with my entire family - about 12 people - we%26#39;ve stayed at Silver Fox Lodge through Jackson Mountain Homes. It has 4 bedrooms and the location is very close to downtown Gatlinburg. We were very happy with this cabin.
