I will be in Gatlinburg the first weekend in December , staying an the Laurel Springs Lodge. We don%26#39;t really want to move our car after we are there and just wondering about close restaurants, don%26#39;t need one for breakfast, because I hear the Lodge has a great one, just thing close by to do. I also know that the Christmas Parade is that weekend and wondered if it is worth watching. Thanks for any input.

thanks mountain man for the quick reply, i will definitely be at the parade, we were there last year at parade time and we let the crowd deter us and we left and didn%26#39;t watch the whole thing, but i think this year we will get some hot chocolate and a good seat and enjoy

Take the Tram to Ober Gatlinburg for the view sometimes overlooked because it takes a few min to get up and back. but thats why your there to slow down and enjoy.
