Any OUTSTANDING restaurants in Germantown/Collierville

Or well above just average ?? We have mega-business associates coming in from CT, and they really have a poor opinion of what Memphis has to offer based on their last trip !! Downtown is OUT ! Thanks

Any OUTSTANDING restaurants in Germantown/Collierville

Thanks for the response, but I have read pretty bad to mediocre reviews on Equestria ! I have not been there very recently but it was nothing to brag about. The fish I had was not that fresh and the steak my hubby had was worst that Outback !!

I hope you were joking about Macaroni Grill, that place is owned by Chili%26#39;s and is pretty awful !

Any other meaningful, new suggestions????

Any OUTSTANDING restaurants in Germantown/Collierville

If you enjoy Mac Grill that%26#39;s cool, but I just spent a week in Italy a few months ago and all I will say is nothing I%26#39;ve ever had in this city compares to Italy.

You say downtown is out, but what about Midtown? There are some good restaurants in Midtown, as well as East Memphis.

If it%26#39;s Collierville and Germantown, though, hmmm. I grew up in Collierville and one of the bad things was the fact that there weren%26#39;t any restaurants. They now have a lot of the chains. The new mall has brought some things in as well.

There is a brand new asian restaurant that is excellent. it just opened two weeks ago. they haven%26#39;t even been approved for their beer and liquor license yet. It is called Lee Kan%26#39;s Asian Grill. It is a fine dining Chinese restaurant with what they call in their newspaper ad a fusion of Pan Asian and French. The owner grew up in China and about 70 percent of the menu items were her mother%26#39;s. They do have a chef who has worked in China and LA.They have some pretty typical Chinese dishes as well as sushi.

Other than that, I am racking my brain and can%26#39;t think of anything in Collierville if I wanted to impress someone. You could always look at options in Midtown, maybe in the cooper young area, or midtown.

I looked up Napa Cafe, it%26#39;s no where near Germantown or Collierville, thanks though. The new Asian place may be an option. Surely with all the apparent wealth in the area there must be better upscale restaurants than places like Equestria? which I think is sort of inferior food ! Any other help? suggestions?? surely all visitors to Collierville have to travel to %26#39;Midtown%26#39; (that looks like a 30 minute drive or so...back towards the city center) to have a great meal/service?? that would be kinda like living in suburban Atlanta (like Sandy Springs or Marietta nad having to drive to Peachtree or Buckhead to find a great restaurant! ) If that%26#39;s the case that seems a bit silly ! HELP

I recommend Three Oaks Grill in Germantown.

some feedback from our experience !

One nite @ ';Three Oaks Grill'; = awful, lousy food, can%26#39;t recommend this place even for a glass of wine !

SEcond nite @ ';Napa Cafe'; = the owner/manager wouldn%26#39;t leave us alone ! Nosey too- Food mediocre at best !

Third nite @ ';BROOKLYN BRIDGE'; italian resturant on edge of Germantown. Had several locals suggest this as the ';best Italian in Memphis'; !!! No way Jose ! We were laughing so hard when one in our party said he%26#39;s had better italian from ChefBoyardee- I agree.

Wefound no other decent upscale anywhere in the city of Germantown or the City of Collierville. Can%26#39;t understand that
