Best things to do with young children?

We will traveling to the area in a few days with a 3, 8, and 12 year-old. Does anyone have some suggestions of places to go? Must-sees?

im not sure if you left for your trip yet but there isnt any ONE thing i recommend the smokies is sooo kid friendly you can find something to do between every stop light. smokies is full of family and kid fun!!

Dollywood has rides for young and old and the Christmas decorations and lights are incredible! Rides, shows, food and shopping and did I mention the lights? Fabulous!
