Douglas Lake or Fort Loudon Lake would be the closest to the Gatlinburg area with Douglas being the closest. Water temps are normally into the mid to upper 60%26#39;s by mid May and into the low to mid 70%26#39;s by June 1st. Air temps can vary from day to day. Highs can range from around 60 to over 80 and lows can be from the low 40%26#39;s to near 70. Average would be highs in the mid-upper 70%26#39;s and lows in the 60%26#39;s.

Here%26#39;s a list of the marinas on both Douglas and Fort Loudoun. I haven%26#39;t been to any of these in many years so I%26#39;m not sure what any of them offer now days.

Douglas Reservoir- Dandridge Point Marina, Lighthouse Pointe Marina, Mountain Cove (formerly Douglas Dam) Marina, Swann’s Marina Inc.- Mountain Cove would be closest to Gatlinburg.

Fort Loudoun Reservoir- Concord Marina, Fort Loudoun Marina, Louisville Landing Marina
