Best Western Music Row?

Hi

I%26#39;ve booked 4 nights at the Best Western Music row in April next year. My son lives in a small appartment near Vanderbilt and this seems the best budget hotel nearby. I%26#39;m travelling with my other son and he will stay in the flat so I will be in the hotel alone I%26#39;ve read the reviews on this hotel and they vary from disgusting to brilliant. Any feedback about the place or any other ideas of a decent budget hotel in this area would be gratefully received.

By the way thanks for all the advice last year for my son%26#39;s graduation, I stayed at the Hampton Inn Briley Parkway and it was lovely. Clean rooms, good breakfast and helpful staff.

Thanks

Jackie

Has nobody any views on this hotel?

Best Western Music Row?

Hi Jackie - I have not stayed there, but I can tell you where the review are on this board.

On this page over to the left and up a little is the title ';Nashville'; in green. Underneath that heading click on ';Nashville Hotels';. That will take you to a listing of hotels in Nashville. In the left column, scroll down to the ';Deals on Nasville Hotels'; in the blue box. Continue to scroll down (almost exactly half way on the page) until you see the Best Western Music Row. Click on it, and your reviews will come up. I don%26#39;t know it that is the easiest way to get to the reviews, but it is the only way I know. Hope that helps.

Hi, Jackie! So you%26#39;re coming back to Nashville. That%26#39;s wonderful. I hope your son is doing well and enjoying his post-college life. We%26#39;re living in Atlanta now but I try to check back here from time to time.

I%26#39;ve never stayed at the Best Western you mention. So I can%26#39;t really help you there.

If you%26#39;re looking into other hotels nearby, I used to stay at the Guest House Inn on Hayest St., which isn%26#39;t that far from Vanderbilt. Mind you, it is not fancy. It%26#39;s an older hotel. But it is clean and comfortable, and there%26#39;s a microwave/mini fridge in every room. I never had a problem when I stayed there.

Here%26#39;s their Web site:

There%26#39;s a Mexican restaurant next door, Las Palmas, that serves good margaritas. It%26#39;s popular with students and locals alike.

Hope that helps!

Hi Peachyswan

My son is doing very well thanks, and is back at college doing his masters. The only way he can stay in the US is to study, so I guess he will never leave school. At least he%26#39;s paying for it all now himself.

This time we%26#39;re staying 4 nights in the centre of Nashville and so hope to see a lot more and then it%26#39;s onto New York for 5 nights.

I%26#39;ve checked out all the reviews on the Best Western and they vary, but I will look up the one you recomend. As usual for me a lot of the final decision is based on price.

Nice to hear from you again and I hope you%26#39;re enjoying life in Atlanta, I%26#39;ve only been to the airport but that seemed very nice:)

Take care

Jackie

hi i stayed at this hotel with my fiancee during halloween weekend,i am from uk and she is from illinois and we went to see raiders v titans, anyway the hotel to us was terrible,we had a king size bed with a couch bed too and only 3 small pillows,i requested extra pillows at 10.30 pm and was told they would be sent up after 11,i waited til 12.30 am and called reception, they told me there were no more pillows available so i would have to make do,the room was not very clean and the service was terrible, they even charged me wrong for the room and i had to send my receipt to head office for them to investigate,i love nashville and we are planning on marrying there but if you want some advice try doubletree instead, they have great hotels,i hope this helps, have fun
