Has anyone visited either the Mountainloft resort in Gatlinburg or Laurel Crest resort in Pigeon Forge? I am trying to plan a vacation there for next August and I am not sure which location is better. I also have a 5 %26amp; 8 year old kids. Any information would be appreciated.

Are you a Bluegreen member? Is so you may want to also check the TUG forums. If not, then my suggetion is MountainLoft is nicer. If you looking for a mtn experience and want to be in Gatlinburg most of the time. If you want to be in PF, then go to Laurel Crest. Laurel Crest is more condo style with lots of parking lots. But it is in PF. I don%26#39;t know if you have ever been to either Gatlinburg or PF but the one problem with that area is the traffic !!!! Plan on doing a lot of walking. The two towns are not that many miles apart, but at the wrong time of year or day it could take you 2 hrs between the 2 towns. Don%26#39;t get me wrong, great family fun. Warning though PF is a ';dry'; town. No achohol. If that is an issue. Lots to do.
Mountainloft resort vs Laurel Crest????
As Bluegreen Owners, we like Mt. Loaf better. The clubhouse is nicer and bigger and the whole resort is quieter. We also like Gatlinburg better than Pigeon Forge. Almost everything is in walking distance.
