I sent it- hope your Thanksgiving was good! We returned last week from a weekend trip to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We tried a few restaurants for the first time- Up the Creek and Apple Tree Inn. We tried to eat at the Best Italian Restaurant, but the wait time was over an hour so we decided to save it for another time. The lights were pretty in Pigeon Forge. My brother in law and sister in law went to the Christmas show at Dixie Stampede and really enjoyed it. Does anyone know if you pay full price to get into Dollywood to see the lights?

I%26#39;m glad you had a good time. Are you going to make it up for the Christmas parade this Friday? We are looking forward to it, I hope the rain holds off!!!!!!!!

dodgeball, you must pay full price to get into the park anytime of the year. The Christmas lights are just a bonus, so to speak, for the season...

It does seem like alot of money since in the fall, most of the rides are shut down, but it really is spectacular and beautiful. The trees around the lake and then they do a show where all the lights on the trees are timed to the music! Awesome!

I THINK they are cheaper. The website says $40.15 which I think is cheaper. It also says if you buy the pass for $65 it will get you in now until December of 2006. That%26#39;s really good! I might just do that!

Thanks- I looked on the website and think we may purchase the one year pass since it will include now until December 30, 2006. The $65 is a good deal since it would cost more than that to go two times. This way, we can see the lights this year and next year without having to pay to get in again.

dodgeball, is Dollywood not offering the gold pass? If they are, consider getting one gold pass and the rest regular season passes. The gold pass gives you 20% off on EVERYTHING in the park, including food. It also allows you to park free, another $5.00 savings. As long as the gold pass holder is one of the people in your party, it pays you to get one and use it. We figured that one gold pass with the rest regular passes still paid for itself in two visits. Worth the extra in my book!
