Usually really nice and warm, may need jeans in the evenings in the mountains. Not terribly rainy, either.

I think May is the best month of all! Nice warm (not hot) days, Cool (or cold) evenings. The highways are not too crowded, and all of the trees and plants are green and in full bloom!
